Sanctus

A card game.

Genre
Collectible card game
Platforms
PC, iOS, Android
Release
In development (alpha)
A marsh at night: lily pads like stepping stones lead up to a hollow tree. The frog hops on the spot on the first lily pad; the squirrel sits in front of the hollow in the tree. When the frog reaches the last lily pad, it sinks with her and the level starts again.

Level 1: the marsh

The game as the frog pictures it. The squirrel would rather not picture anything.

Our next game

Our next game is still at the thinking stage. The frog said “croak”, and the squirrel has been staring at her ever since. We’ll keep you posted.

Genre
A platformer, says the frog. Pointless, says the squirrel.
Platforms
Lily pads, for now.
Release
As soon as the squirrel uncrosses his arms.

Not ready yet. The squirrel doesn’t like to be rushed.

The studio

Somewhere in France, in our hollow tree at the edge of the marsh, we make video games that put people in a good mood. Even the squirrel, sometimes. Not that he’ll ever admit it.

How a game is born at Frog & Blase

  1. The frog, mouth open and throat puffed up

The frog has an idea. She says “croak”.

  2. The squirrel, arms crossed, looking sideways

The squirrel looks at her for a long time, without a word.

  3. The frog and the squirrel, side by side, looking at us

If the idea survives that look, it becomes a game.

How many of you are there?
Enough to finish our games, not enough to fill the hollow tree. The squirrel knows the exact number, but he won’t tell: that would take effort.
Do you really work in a hollow tree?
Yes. The wifi gets in more reliably than the postman.
And what does the frog think?
“Croak.”

Past the marsh,
just right of the hollow tree.

If a squirrel sighs when he sees you coming, you’re in the right place. No need to knock: he’s already seen you.

Write to us

The postman got lost in the marsh once, and we never saw him again. Since then, the squirrel has handled the mail. He only accepts emails.

Are you hiring?

No. It took the squirrel years to get used to the frog. So we don’t respond to unsolicited applications or internship requests.
